Imagine my surprise when I opened the December edition of Student Lawyer (from the ABA Law Student Division) and saw Todd Chatman’s article “Join the Blawg Bandwagon”. Todd’s better known as mowabb/ambimb over at ambivalent imbroglio and Blawg Wisdom, both great blawgs worth checking out. I’d completely forgotten that I’d answered some questions for the article some time ago, so I was pleasantly surprised to see my name in print.
The article is a great resource for novice bloggers, although it’s interesting to see this appear in an ABA publication, given ambimb’s latest post.

Yeahbut, see, the positive way to look at this is that I’m just adding more support to one of my arguments in that article, which is that blogs can help you get a more accurate and complete picture of the legal profession. I posted some half-baked ranting about the ABA, some kind readers told me I was being half-baked and inaccurate, I learn, readers learn, everyone is better off. No?
But anyway, thanks for helping me write that article by sending in your comments all those months ago.
Indeed, as long as everyone is learning. 🙂
And not all of your criticisms about the ABA are off-base, the organization does seem to have some serious drawbacks.
Why do you blog?
As some people have already noted, the feature article in this month’s Student Lawyer magazine has something in common with this blog—both were written by the same person.
