It should. But the vast majority of the citizenry doesn’t even know about it… and wouldn’t do anything about it if they did.
Crap. Crap. Crap. Almost makes me happy that I’m in the military. See, I can continue to use my old driver’s license until 90 days after I retire. The license I was issued when I was 16. In 1987.
Sadly, my Japanese wife is dealing with 9 kinds of nightmare as a result of 9/11 and Homeland Security. She can’t get a driver’s license in WV, and we’re waiting for a court hearing in Pittsburgh to figure out what to do. So I must say it’s very nice being on both sides of the Global War on Whatever.
